Earlier this week, media landscape enlivened by the issue of a malware called Masque Attack reported to have infected many iOS devices and Macs. Not long ago, Apple has issued a statement related to the dangerous malware.

As quoted MakeMac of iMore, Apple said that the Mac and iOS devices have built-in protection that will warn users of the potential dangers of malware in a software or applications before they install it. They also recognize that the user is not aware of this dangerous malware infection.

We Encourage customers to only download from trusted sources like the App Store and to pay attention to any warnings as they download apps. Enterprise users installing custom apps should install apps from their company's secure website.


Masque Attack is more virulent malware malware infects WireLurker which also rumored iOS device (both jailbroken and non-jailbroken) and Mac computers some time. This malware has the ability to masquerade as the original application and will steal important data users.
