BlackBerry re-explore the potential features of instant messaging services, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) by introducing a video call services for businesses. These services are named
BBM Meetings. Quoted from Mobile Syrup, Friday (11/13/2014), the
BBM Meetings can accommodate 25 participants at the same time allowing them to share the screen.
The main selling points of the BBM Meetings are those services is cross-platform, so that users can make video calls with users of Android devices, Mac (iOS still labeled "coming soon"), and Windows Phone. For users other than the BlackBerry device, the BBM Meetings is restricted to a maximum of 10 people.
Other features in
BBM Meetings include support scheduling meetings through the address book, BBM, or e-mail, and can send invitations to participants on the fly. Participants fuel Meetings no longer need to use a PIN or a unique ID to join, they are pretty receive video calls as usual to join the BBM Meetings.
